Shinichi Takeuchi

Takeuchi Shinichi African Studies Center, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies
Research Fields I am interested in how African people will create and build modern nations. I have conducted research on conflicts and land issues collaterally, mainly in central African countries, including Rwanda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. Through my research on such topics, I have considered how a nation establishes its power and governs the people, as well as through what process the national governance could lead to collapse.
